U7 Academy

On the 22nd September, there was a fantastic first ever set of friendly matches against Bishops Cleeve for our U7s.  We are super proud of our little ones, who all put in a huge amount of effort and did a great job representing the club!

U8 Tournament at Newlands

The 15th and the 22nd September saw the first child friendly U8 Tournament held at Newlands.  Credit to all children and parents, particularly on the 22nd when the weather was less than kind.  There were some brilliant matches played, and all the kids were smiling and enjoying their football.

U12 Vipers

Huge congratulations to the new U12 Vipers team who completed their first ever Gloucester Girls League match on the 9th September.  We are incredibly proud as a club to have teams in this league.   #ThisGirlCan

We are recruiting coaches!

A shout to any budding coaches!! Due to the numbers on our waiting lists, we now could potentially run another training squad for both the U10s and the U9s! It would be fantastic to get as many kids as possibly involved in grassroots football, but we just can't take any more into these age groups unless people step up and get involved. Yes, it is a commitment - we would be lying if we said that it wasn't. However, it is an incredibly rewarding experience and we are a very friendly club. At the end of it all, you will be able to say that you made a difference to kids' lives. That is something to be proud of. Please spread the word and get people to get in touch if they can help.  To learn more about coaching in the Phantoms Family, click here

U14 Panthers (Girls)

Having secured a spot in the Gloucester Girls League next season, WE ARE RECRUTING U14 GIRLS (years 8 & 9) into our U14 Girls Panthers team. If you know anyone who might be interested, please ask them to e-mail  for full details. It's a brilliant opportunity for girls to get involved in football in a safe and fun environment. #PhantomsFamily, #ThisGirlCan

U14 United Goalkeeper

U14 United are looking for a new goalkeeper for the new season.   If you are interested, or know someone who is, please e-mail

We had a fantastic evening at the Gloucestershire FA Grassroots Heroes Awards on 4th July in Bristol, coming third place in the Charter Standard Club of the Year Award Category against very stiff competition.

Congratulations to fantastic "Coach Chris", also known as Chris Harding, our U8 Academy Manager, who was third in the Coach of the Year Category and has also just been awarded his FA Level 2 Qualification. Congratulations also to our amazing Chairman Martin Johnson, who won the Supporter of the Year Award!

All the volunteers in the club give up huge amounts of their free time to ensure that kids get access to grassroots football. Huge thanks to everyone involved!
